The SCCY CPX-2 is a Kel-Tec P-11 clone, another inexpensive, hammer fired, hurts-to-shoot 9mm.
The only advantages over the Walther are a push button mag release,
I wonder how many people realize that the SCCY CPX-2 is smaller and lighter than the Glock 43, is about the same width, holds 10+1 rounds and only costs $220.00
The Solo was too unreliable for me to even consider carrying and yes, I used the recommended ammo.A guy I know was #1 on the waiting list at our LGS for a 43 and he went over on Sat. to pick it up. Came home with a Kimber Solo instead. The 43 is too big to just have a 6 round mag.
True.jimbo, for some, the 26 is too fat. The "little bit thinner" makes a difference.
In talking with Glock, the design focus was similar to the G42 in that they were not striving to make the smallest gun possible, but more specifically the smallest gun people could still shoot well.
The smaller Kahr CM9 and Ruger LC9 9mm pistols can be handfuls to shoot with hot 9mm rounds, so the size of the Glock G43 and Walther PPS makes more practical sense with more shootable comfort.
If Glock wants to get my attention and more of my money they're going to have to FINALLY make a pistol carbine that you can use they're existing Glock magazines in. Something similar to the Beretta CX4 Storm carbine that Beretta made. They got the pistol market covered with just about any caliber you desire. I think a well designed pistol carbine would sell well for them.
Not magic at all. Magazine holds 6, chamber holds 1, gun capacity is 7. Standard measurement of capacity in auto loaders.http://us.glock.com/products/model/g43
Under magazine capacity it says 6, but the accompanying illustration shows 7. It's a magic gun.
I'll stick with the Rohrbaugh I've carried since 2007.
