It appears to be so, from reading Wikipedia, but the "US subsidiary" part left me a bit skeptical.
If my Enfield "Jungle" sells (-FTF Only, in west TN-), I would Then probably buy an HK, probably the P30, simply to add to the 100% German handgun collection: four Sigs, a Sauer 38H and the M&P .22
We were recently in Nuremberg, where the Polizei told me that they had traded their Sig P6 years ago for the P30.
