I've had the itch for a belt fed for a while ... I wanted 223 and have been looking at the Michaels Machine clone of the HK23E but the $11,995 price tag really slowed me down.
I saw the Ares Defense MCR on Gunbroker ... also know as the Shrike which I remember was a huge debacle a few years ago. I asked around about it but no one on the forms had any first had info ... everything I saw on you-tube was good so I got one and put it on my M16 ... to say I'm impressed is an understatement ... its awesome!
There are also some people on youtube using a slide-fire stock which also seems to work well, but since I don't have one I can't really comment on that.
