Arkansas State Police have dropped New Hampshire from the list of states they stated they had reciprocity with.

I have had an ongoing discussion with Arkansas for the last 4 months about their listing of NH and NH not list AR as reciprocating. I was told it was signed and delivered. Then I was told it was in the mail and then told there is nothing.

IT was in the mail. AR did send NH the paperwork but it never came back. I have not heard from my contact in the AR State Police on what exactly happened.

But Arkansas and New Hampshire do not have a reciprocity agreement. Handgunlaw.us will be updated in the next 24 hours to reflect this Negative change in reciprocity.

It looks like they dropped Colorado and added Nevada while they were at it.

I won't be visiting Arkansas again - my CO permit is no longer valid there. Bummer. :(

As a resident and fan of the state of Arkansas this upsets me. I'll be making phone calls tomorrow. I hate the fact that they can make decisions without consulting the people.

This is especially bad because Stuttgart was just hit with a tornado. For those of you who don't know it's the duck hunting capitol. I know many hunters like to carry a sidearm. So first the weather hurts them, then the politicians. That town survives on hunters money.

Neededaysername, keep the rest of us posted on your findings. I am too a fellow resident, and this is really bothersome that they can drop Colorado.

Colorado and Arkansas

I have emails into both states. I believe the omission of CO from the AR list is an error. Both states will honor any state that honors theirs so there is no reason for them to drop Colorado. My contact in AR is out of her office till 8/20.

Hopefully this is not some NH shenanigans. We're getting much more liberal here...
