Arken scopes on sale for 25% off with SAVE25% code

They don't like my address, so I can't order one, I tried. Some places are funny about how you put the PO Box in, which is part of my billing address.

I asked them to call me via email...........crickets. My only communication from them was check with my bank, but that's not the issue.

So......who else has something in the $300/$400 price range that brings real value, like a good sale value? I need a scope for the CZ, which is going to my nephew.

FWIW, this looks to be Viridian's replacement for Serac 6-24x50 that I was thinking about testing next for $324 + free shipping - https://www.opticsplanet.com/optics...technologies-antero-5-30x56mm-rifle-scop.html

Viridian Antero - 5-30x56, 30mm tube, illuminated BDC reticle, SFP, 10 yards to infinity parallax, 4" eye relief, 22 oz, 15.7 in

Euro might still have the bushnell match pro gen1s for cheap. No experience but everyone ive talked to that has them are stoked on em.

+1. They were like $450 new direct from Bushnell, probably some shipping tacked on too. Can't remember. I've never heard anything bad about them. I have one but only took it out once. I got rid of the rifle that it was on, so it's sitting in the box for the moment.

They were out there a week ago for about $350 or less. I’m happy with mine.

Edit : guess I should real a little more before I reply 🤭. Holy crap for 299 I should get another just because LOL

Well dang it, their system didn't like my address either (Sigh, use it all the time), they still had the hospital in my address list, which is where I got a lot of stuff shipped to over the years. At least I can call them tomorrow and get it straight. :)

How does the Bushnell Match Pro compare to the Vortex Venom?

A&A Optics has Refurbished Vortex for around 1/2 price, currently they are out of Venoms but they have them often

And it's a done deal, thanks guys. My nephew will love it no doubt. Anyone notice that the new CZ Varmint was left handed? ;)
I think you'll love the Match Pro I have it's predecessor Bushnell Elite SFP 6-24 and both a SH4 6-24 and EP5 5-25.
The glass is pretty close with a slight edge to Bushnell, the biggest advantages the Arkens have is the turrets are very positive and they have more elevation adjustment.

I have an old Bushnell Elite 4300 6-24 MIL-DOT, an Arken SH 6-24, and an Arken SH 6-24J (Japanese glass). The Bushnell is slightly better than the Arken SH 6-24J. I can say that the SH 6-24J is definitely worth the extra $100 over the standard SH 6-24.

I won't replace the standard Arken SH 6-24 scope but I will buy the SH 6-24J if I need another 6-24 scope.

I love how the MIL-DOT reticle is calibrated on the old Bushnell. The reticle is calibrated at 12x which makes 6x 2 MIL and 24x half a MIL.

I bought on of these similar but first focal plane 6-24x50 Bushnells in 2018 and it was nice, but no zero stop etc. I upgraded soon afterwards and one of my nephews has it on a .308 and really likes it.

Thats actually the first thing I noticed in the first photo of your thread. I thought about it shooting last night and realized I was shooting the CZ because its slower than my Clark custom 10/22, not more accurate.

Simply don't have time to burn up as much ammo.

I mounted the Bushnell Match Pro 1st Gen this AM. It's all y'all said it was, very nice. Not surprised, very happy with
my other Bushnells. Had a Bushnell Forge in this price rangish and it was very nice. Nephew has it now on an MPA
Axiom in a BA Comp chassis. Oh, I used Vortex rings. (1.00 height, matches the stock well.)

Used a ball peen hammer head on a rope off of a ladder to get a vertical to line up the reticle.

Looks real nice on the CZ 457 Varmint. I have a bolt knob coming Friday. Nephew will be here Sunday. 👍

When I saw the first picture, I thought you were range testing with barrel bolted to the vise to eliminate barrel harmonics (US Army also bolted M16 barrel for range testing).

Then I realized you were mounting the scope for true vertical crosshair zero with plumb line (That's what I do also).

Nice job and once again, BEAUTIFUL range setup ... Your retirement is going to be golden. 👍
