I love mine. Better after selling all my CZ. It fits my hand better than any all steel gun made and is very accurate. EAA Witness mags made by Mecar (16rnds) work fine with it. They took the best features of the CZ 75 and Sig P210 and came up with the AR 24.
Thanks for the input... I have three CZs (which I love) and when I first saw the AR-24 I thought it was a 'knock-off' of the 75B... Don't know much about the AR but I think its only a year or two old... know its made in Turkey... and sells for about $450+... I own a STOEGER COUGER, which is also made in Turkey, all steel and a VERY GOOD shooting gun!... But it cost $325 new. At their $$ I don't know what the ARs advantage would be over the CZs... which, to me, is a QUALITY, FLAWLESS GUN!!

Turkey is quite different from some other mideast countries. (FYI, nearly all mideast countries view themselves as different from their neighbors, and don't like us lumping them together. Just like Texas and Connecticut are different from each other.) Turkey is progressive and friendly enough that Israel sells them advanced weapons. That should say a lot.

Anyone have any good pics of these, better than the website pics?
Putting 'politics' aside for a second... As I said, I own a Turkish made COUGER (along with a couple CZs, a SIG, a FNP-9, etc) and for the $325 I spent for it, I'm totally satisfied with the gun... real good quality (Beretta supervision and machinary), shoots great, looks great (to me), fits perfect... so NO problems with Turkish guns... NOT a CZ or SIG but still a real good gun!
So with all that, still wondering about the AR... and their $450+ price tag. For me, I've yet to find a gun with the looks, quality and $$ that beats a CZ!!!

I have the version with the adjustable sights (which I was willing to spend the little extra for not only for the site, but because the front and back straps of the frame are checkered rather than serrated). My local gun shop still has the fixed sight version in stock, right next to a fixed sight CZ 75B. They have the AR-24 selling for slightly less. I understand this may not be true everywhere, and I have seen the AR marked slightly higher on some internet sights. Nonetheless, the difference usually seems to be under $50 either way, so price needn't be the dominant consideration.
Personally, I'd suggest handling both of them, and if possible, shooting them (if the range has rentals of both, or you know people who have both), and make your decision based on which you personally like best. Quality-wise, there seems no great difference between the two. My AR-24 is a very well made gun, shoots very accurately, and so far has fed every 9mm load I've shot through it with no difficulties. I personally like it better than the CZ. I think it looks better, and I find the grip, with its greater indentation on the backstrap, and the palm swells on the grip panels, simply fits my hand better. I can recommend it without reservation.

The trigger reach is not bad at all. I have short fingers as well, and I have no trouble shooting the AR-24 in double action mode. The beauty of the AR-24 (or the CZ) is that it can be carried and/or shot in single action mode, and I can't imagine you'd have much difficulty shooting it that way.
True, I also use my CZs in SA most of the time, and trigger reach is not a problem there. But, I was just wondering if AR-24 has a better trigger reach in DA mode, because of the curved trigger and deeper cut backstrap. I have not handled the AR-24. Looks like a decent gun.
BTW, the trigger reach in P-01 is slightly better for me than in CZ75B.

The trigger reach on the AR-24 does seem to be just a little shorter. There's not much difference, but even a millimeter or so can be the difference between something that feels right and something that doesn't when it comes to the trigger reach.

I bought one NIB for $455 with the adjustable sights. It is one nicely made pistol. I took it to the range for the first time to day and put 200 rounds of fmj ammo through it without a malfunction. Accuracy was great (on par with my S&W M&P). It was funner to shoot due to the all steel construction. I had been lusting after a BHP, but this bargain was half the price and now I am no longer lusting after that Browning
