Thought it would be nice to start the Armalite AR10 club. I bought my first AR10 Super SASS rifle about two years ago with Leupold Mark 4 LR/T 6.5x20x50mm and Harris bipod. I really like it. Any others that have AR10's.

16" standard carbine. Currently wears a YHM Phantom, so its about as loud as a .22. I am currently pinching pennies saving for a Trijicon accupoint . This is my favorite rifle.

I love my AR10s, got 2 Armalite AR10A2s, a Bushmaster BAR10 (now discontinued) and got a new Bushmaster 308 OCR on the way. AR15s are ok, but they are a hammer, AR10 is a sledgehammer. now what optics to put on that new Bushmaster?

I have a NoveskaLite, Noveske N6 upper on a ArmaLite AR-10B lower.

With the NEW ArmaLite AR-10A that uses SR-25 mags, I think there may be some used AR-10B rifles (M14 mags) show up on the market at good prices. I plan on at least one more if not two. A pair of carbines, one A2 and one A3.

Bare bones.

I have a Rock River LAR-8/A4. I love this rifle and use it for deer hunting. At the beginning of the season I flip a coin as to starting the season with it or with my Ruger #1 in 45-70.

I have an Armalite with the 24" Lothar barrel. Probably one of the most accurate 308 auto loaders I have ever seen straight from the factory. It now wears a DD rail, a Timney single stage trigger and a PRS stock, but the barrel and upper internals have never been touched. I also have a POF308 with a 14" barrel. It will hang with the armalite out to a few hundred yards, but as the distance grows longer, the AR-10T will aleave it in the dust.

FRANK: Great idea, I shoot a ARMALITE AR10 ( T ), not half as much as I should but I really enjoy this rifle. I have a 8-32x40 AO 4200 ELITE on it and it will shoor under an 1 Inch with most of our reloads some 1/2 inch. I actually use this rifle to hunt Coyotes some times, if we are going to set in one place, like up in the top floor of a barn for a couple hours. We use Harris Bipods and thinks they are great. My Son shoots a DPMS LR-308 with a 8-32x40 AO 4200 ELITE also, we like this scope and have several of them. My Son`s DPMS shoots as good or better than my ARMALITE. I have had very good luck with ARMALITES we have a couple of Armalite AR-15`s that get used alot. My SON bought mine for me as a suprise. We argue over witch rifle is the best, gives us something to do while driving to a spot, or while set up in a hide some where. Count us in for your club. GOOD LUCK TO YOU: ken

I'm in! I have an Eagle lower/Armalite upper Frankengun in a 20" flat top configuration, with a Pentax Lightseeker 3x9 on top. I use her as my foul weather deer rifle, and also for the occasional still hunting bouts. Loaded with 150gr Barnes TSX she has taken a fair number of Whitetails...and 2 skunks, a coyote, and innumerable targets.

I picked her up for a song about 7 years ago because she wouldn't cycle worth a darn. A quick check showed the buffer was for an AR15 carbine, and didn't have enough mass to cycle the bolt. A few dollars and she now digests everything I feed her, including way to many rounds of the nasty Pakistani milsurp.

I've worked on a few Frankengun .308 AR's and have seen this before. Some builders forget the BCG is a half inch longer and you need either a longer RE or shorter buffer.

I was drooling over an AR10 in my store for 30 days until I spoiled it (saliva) enough to "book-it" to myself  it's 20".243 match barrel (no flash hider)
pics coming soon

My wife constantly reminded me "buy the gun and sell the gun, you can't keep them all". :)

However, there were a few booked to me. Hell, what would be the fun of it if that did not happen?

if I owned a candy store I would be overweight with adult acquired diabetes, so the guns are healthier.. so it's a health club then
