Because of risk to others in the store, the store operator made decision not to shoot the armed robber.

Good decision or not? This has come up in other threads in the context of bank robbery. Does the same logic apply?

I can't help but believe that any time something like this ends with no shots fire would be a good thing. And to stay cool enough to worry about the safety of others, not from your shooting,but from where the BG's shots would go. I wouldn't rob this guy, he is one cool cucumber.
