As You Walk Out The Door: What gun goes with you today?

some will call me a liar, but it is a five inch xd .45 acp using the factory holster with two spare mags. I am 6'3 and 300 pounds, so i have a lot of creases and folds to hide a the gun under. I have a custom 1911 but never felt it was reliable enough for daily carry. would really like to upgrade to a 4 inch smith and wesson in .45 acp and use moon clips. I know that does not seem like an upgrade, but i like the siplicity of the wheel gun.

Not a fair question. I left the house once today carrying a Redhawk 44 mag and an SP101 357 mag. Oh and a NAA mini clipped to my pocket its always there so I often don't think about it. I went to the range to test the Rugers so I didn't take a ccw. Later when I leave to pick up my son from the bus stop I will have the NAA, a Spyderco Endura 4 wave, a oak cane, and a 2 year old German shepard. Finally when I leave this evening I will have the NAA, the Spyderco, the cane and my Sig 226 with 13 (12+1) 165 gr Hornady Critical Defense flex tips and a spare mag of the same.

90% of the time it's my second gen Glock 19 in a Blackhawk Serpa CQC, but I also carry it in a shoulder rig on occasion. If wardrobe won't allow for the Glock (I don't really care about printing, but I can't stand that huge bulge when in a suit), then it's the Kahr CW9. Cheers.

Well, as I currently, and sadly, only own one at the time, it is my DB380 full of WWB in a $10 pocket holster in my back pocket. I am hoping to remedy this by acquiring either a LC9 or Glock 26 sooner than later, as finances allow for an under-employed college student.

Glock 32

Glock 32. Milt Sparks/Alessi Watch Six dual-talon IWB holster.

Mods:

- Tru-Glo tritium+fiber optic sights

- Ghost Rocket overtravel-eliminator, 3.5# trigger with custom Thaddeus Glock trigger job (there is none better). This is the sweetest Glock trigger you will ever pull.

- Clipdraw belt clip

- Cominolli thumb safety (because I often clip the gun inside my pants with no holster).

This gun has been my best friend for years. I use this gun for steel competitions, plinking, and every day carry.

Its getting warmer here in Old Dixie'Land as well, I had too run by the store
and pick up some cat food. The little old ladies that run the check-out lines
freak out when they see a legally armed citizen in the store; so to avoid any
problems, I was dressed in blue jeans, T-shirt, shoes with socks and carrying
my 3" Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry II .45 ACP. This was covered by an old
U.S.Army fatigue type shirt; and everything went really well. I greeted the little
old ladies, paid for my merchandise, wished 'em well; and was on my way.

FWIW, This is in lieu of me knowing the store owner's; as they are my friends
as well as some of my best cutomers in the gun business~! ;) :)

This morning...G 23 in a Serpa with the S&W M36 in my pocket. Kimber in bad need of a good cleaning after firing so many very cheap imports through it last week. Can't trust it until I get that done. Yeah I know....I shouldn't fire dirty junk through a good weapon. I need a Glock .45acp to take out the trash without a problem. Or I could stop buying cheap imported .45acp ammo!!!
