Anyone have any experience with these shotguns? I got an online ad from Bud's Gun Shop about them and was curious to hear some opinions. If they're a decent home protection shotgun, I might go talk to my LGS about picking one up.

Thoughts?

I have transferred a few of them, they appear to be yet another Turkish 870 clone. Most of the 870 clones seem to work just fine. If you are looking for something to shoot occasionally and keep around the house, it should fit the bill. If you want to mod it with aftermarket accessories, spent another $100 and buy an 870 or Mossberg 500.

I have to agree with rule303. I have a Norinco 98 and most 870 accessories will fit except barrels (they can be modified to work). You can't go wrong with the 870 or 500. I prefer the 500 since I shoot left hand.

As a general rule I've found it better in the long run where firearms are concerned to stick with something tried, true, currently in production and American made. It's less hassle over time, and the difference in $$$ isn't all that much, really.

YMMV of course...

Admittedly, I didn't do much research prior to my post. I just saw the ad and thought I'd ask the question. This would be purely for home protection and I'm somewhat old school when it comes to accessories, so there wouldn't be any danger of any going on the gun.

If you go to the web site there are pictures of the manufacturing plant.

It looks like something that a good millwright crew could set up in less than a week. Rather take it down and move it in less than a week.
