I find it interesting that there doesn't seem to be much excitement about this story. Someone lobbed a live grenade at El Presidente! That's crazy! Sure it might have been a low-impact grenade, but still someone did it. W needs to be careful out there.

Cheney is one of the most humble, articulate, and deliberative men in politics. Listen to him speak sometime. You'll see that he is the polar opposite of "inept", "pompus" and "jerk".

Heh. I beg to differ. If Clinton, Kerry, or Feinstein got blasted off, I imagine there'd be a LOT of "Hoo-ray! They got what they deserved!"-type posts sprayed all over this site.

DU = democraticunderground.com. A very liberal forum, whose site specifically says if you show conservative tendencies, you will be banned. To them, Bush is a four letter word (well, um, you get my drift).

And I am sorry if I overread, but your post did make it sound like that would be the only reason you'd be upset if someone assassinated Bush.
