I took my AT-9 out to the range yesterday. I've owned it for months and just
now shot it.
I used Uzi mags modified w/ an extra notch to fit the AT-9
mag catch. Those Uzi mags suck at getting all 32 rounds in.
I only got about 20 rounds in each mag.
Anyway I thought I'd have feed problems because
of the mags and a $150.00 dollar gun (yes I only paid $150.00
For this beaut, I've seen em on gunbroker sel for $600 plus).
It shot awesome!! It's the only 9mm gun I
own, it shot super tight double tap "groups" at 15
Yards like nothing!!!
Really fun gun.
I only had one FTF (out of 100 steel and brass ammo) and the steel cased round
Split, it was ejected and discarded.
Fun to shoot, mag release is awkward. Safety is a little
awkward. The wire stock is slightly uncomfortable
on your face when shooting, but nothing that can't be handled.
I wish I had a barrel shroud just for the cool factor.
Does anyone have a schematic or measurements for adding the mag catch
notch in the Uzi mags since they are easier to get than original Feather Ind. $50.00 mags?
Thanks
Steve
