Carried before whenever I traveled or "thought I may need it".

I owned handguns before I got a concealed carry permit but I was 28 when I started wearing a firearm concealed. PA had a drawn out process to get a CCW/license. Where I live now it was a lot better.

That's when I got my license but I'd carried before then...just not regularly

Forty-seven, but that's from living in California too long. I got my CCW about eight months after moving here.
