Not to sound like THR conspiracy nut, but anybody else think its strange that ATF is raiding SHOT for S&W, raiding Sabre Defense, several other AR-15 manufactures being raided or run out of business by ATF. Is Barry O. using executive ATF power to intimidate the gun manufacturers, gun businesses? It seems the ATF is very busy lately???

And FWIW, the individuals arrested during SHOT were arrested for corruption-type crimes - hardly something you can "frame" someone for.

So yeah, your tinfoil hat seems to be a little too tight.

No, nothing is really any different. Cav Arms and KT Ordnance were raided during the Bush administration. Red's Trading Post fell under their microscope during Bush too.

It's just what the ATF does.

Just be thankful they haven't burned any children to death lately.

We already had someone without enough information posting about this already when the Sabre thread started. Turned out Saber had employees stealing regulated items from the company and selling them. SHOT was a handy place to bust a bunch of people who had been the subject of investigation for months. As pointed out already, the rest started out during the previous administration.

Perhaps looking for facts instead of distorting them to fit prejudice/paranoia would be smarter.

The Shot Show arrests was an FBI investigation not ATF. It was an employee arrested not Smith and Wesson itself and their was no raid. All those arrest were made offsite and not at the Shot Show proper It was just everybody was there I guess the justice dept was trying to save money instead of going to eight states to make arrests. And lastly that investigations was started over 18 months ago during you guessed it the Bush Adiministration.
