I'm new to buying guns (or anything really) online, I was hoping someone here could help me sort it out. My understanding is that I need to call an FFL, tell them who I am and what I'm buying from who, then call the site( in this case Atlantic Firearms) and tell them who my FFL is. They ship it, I go down and fill out paperwork and pick up the gun, in the same trip, right?
Anything I'm leaving out?

Also, does anybody here know anything about Atlantic Firearms service? Are they pretty good, or do they tend to scam people?
Thanks.

(and if you know of a place selling a Saiga in 7.62 for less than 350, feel free to let me know that too)

Atlantic Firearms is a highly reputable company, who have gone out of their way to assist their customers. I think they still have a surcharge for CC payments, but their shipping costs are reasonable. I bought one rifle from them, and will do so again in the future.

You can send them a Private Meassage with any questions you might have as they are members here at THR: AtlanticFirearms

Further, if you do a search of their name on the forum, you'll see a LOT of positive feedback.

Thanks everybody. I didn't know that Atlantic Firearms was so well established. I'll be amking a call to my FFL today...

Atlantic Firearms are a good business.

Only thing you are missing out is that Atlantic need a copy of your local FFL's certificate - some FFL's will fax it themselves, others will give you a copy to send/email to them. So long as the seller gets the certificate, the deal is good to go and they will ship.

When it arrives, you go there to pick it up, you pay your fee, your local FFL will do the NICS check - all being well, they will then hand your gun over. Jobs a good'un.

:)Yes we try to offer HR members discounts on firearms that are not on sale , please feel free to email us directly for a price quote & please mention your HR user name and the item you are looking for :)
