I usually wait a day or two anyway. I'm already ordering from elsewhere instead of buying from the guy, so I can understand if he isn't in a hurry to transfer it as soon as it falls off the fed ex truck. One of my local shops has announced they won't do transfers from e-tailers because of constant phone calls asking "Is it in?"

You might want to consider just how many transfers your local shop may be processing. One near me gets several hundred every week. You can't just show up ten minutes after the truck drops it off, but they are very good about contacting you when it is logged and ready to pick up.

Take a deep breath, man.

Allright, the point is clear enough: Even in the age of instant gratification, some things still take a little time. In this case, a very little time, but that very little bit of extra time can seem like forever if you are absurdly demanding and impatient.

Look at it this way, if you are in that big a hurry to get this rifle -- how did you manage to wait long enough to pick it out and order it? If you need to be annoyed at anyone, be annoyed at yourself for taking so long to make up your mind and place your order!

;)

Anyway, that's enough on that subject. Post a range report when you get a moment to shoot it.
