There is a design flaw in the rubber shock absorber that protects the batteries in the full size Eotech's that take a AA battery. Eotech offers a fix that is extremely easy to install and completely fixes the issue with the rubber bumpers falling out of the housing. Just call Eotech's service dept, and they promptly ship the new bumper and instructions for installation.
