I understand it involves rowboats.
That would be freakin' awesome . There should be an event like that where you do an obstacle course with a rowboat and shoot targets. Kinda like the one in the olympics with the skis.

I don't care if I have to get some duck-boots, though...I would like to see the aluminum stand up to some stuff.
Well, there is still all the steel we're bringing. If my check comes in today, I'll also buy a whole mess of the splatter paper targets I normally use - they're waterproof.
As far as restaurants go, are you looking for only NE Austin? I know lots of good places, but most of them are central/downtown. How many people are we expecting?

I drove by the ARC range this Morning and the conditions are still fine for shooting.
The BIG PROBLEM is this Saturday's weather forecast: thunderstorms. Although the firing positions are covered, I'm not sure if people like to shoot in the rain; definitely, paper targets aren't going to work and the ground will be too soft to use my spinners.

I'd like to suggest that we, instead of meeting at the range Satruday, meet at a restaurant for an 11 o-clock lunch. ARC folks have liked China Star and Texas Land and Cattle restaurants near the intersection of Hwy290 and I-35. Please post if you're interested in lunch and an optional shoot after. So far, I've not received any restaurant suggestions.
We'll get to know fellow shooters and bs about our shooting abilities... Don't bs too much or we'll head out to the range for a demo
