Tired of working your fingers to the bone culliing small primer 45 brass from large, only to have one stop your reloading dead in it's tracks?

Well, take a look at the innovative, new and improved, super, diet and patent pending, cull-o-matic.

Ball point pen included.

No brass was harmed in this video.

I haven't put my PLC controled auto drive on that 1050 yet, so that was just my arm working it.

The sorter is controlled by the 12v truck latch that was given to me some years back by a paint and body business behind the last shop I was in. I don't know what car it came from but it has a lot more power than your normal door lock and is spring return. The price was right though, free. I miss the place sometimes, they gave me all sorts of stuff just to see what I would make out of it.

cool gizmo. here's my question through: are small primer 45's the wave of the future? should I be expecting to start phasing out my large primer cases for small primers?

There's plenty of people that prefer them, mainly because it reduces the number of primer types that they have to keep stocked. But most factory .45acp ammo still uses LPP. It's mostly some self defense ammo and non-toxic ammo that utilizes SPP in .45acp. But I wouldn't be surprised if more manufacturers started using it for all their .45acp.

I am with KS, I think it started with NT brass and will be like 5 lug wheels to 4 lug in the 80's...save a penny 1,000,000 times and thats a lot of money.

I just hope it goes one way or the other.

Ah, a 1050, sorry so I didn't recognize it.
I don't have one, (can't afford one) :(

Still, all in all, a very cool invention.
