Looking to put a bullet feeder on my press and was wondering which one to use. I have a Dillon 650 and was looking at the Lee due to its simple operation and cost . Does anyone out there have any experience with these and would it work with the Dillon. Seems like it would but I would need to see one up close to be sure and have not seen one a a local shop:rolleyes:

The Lee feeder is a POS, if you want to waist money at least save some time and burn it. The KISS/Mrbulletfeeder works well but eliminates the ability to use the powder check die. The GSI feeder feeds and seats on #4 so you can still have the PC on 3 and crumpled on 5.

I have the Lee & so far I like it. I don't think it would work on the Dillon without so mods. However I don't have a Dillon so I can't say for sure.

My attempt with the Lee required a tab be added to the main shaft on a 650. If you are lucky enough to have one that will feed correctly for more than a few rounds you will soon learn a feeder without a collator isn't much help at all.

I don't use the collector but still find mine use full. It keeps me from having to stick my hand in the press. It is also faster to just drop it down the tube then set it on a bullet.

While that's worded a bit harshly, I agree. I had one & it didn't work worth a darn.
. I spent enough time tinkering with the Lee feeder that I could have made one, that worked. Scharch sold one for the 1050 that used the same "finger" principal but they were metal.

For about the same money you could get the Hornady dropped, that seems to work, and be OK. Remember you loose the PC with it. Only the GSI let's you keep it.

GREAT price on the one hanging on my Lee that doesn't get used any longer. Initial set up was a pain, then it worked OK for about 500 rounds and hung up. When it hung up it bent a rod. Even with a new rod from Lee I never could get it to work right again so I gave up.

@ dradave... Like what you have done . This is what I was looking for!!!! A BIG Thanks to all who replied. I now have a lot to think about... Lots and lots!:)
