I put other. We could come up with a compromise.

1. Clips that hold more than 8 rounds of .30-06 shall be illegal.
2. Shotguns with internal tube magazines with more than 10 rounds and barrels under 20" shall be illegal.
3. As a sound-pollution control measure and to stimulate the economy, all firearms with threaded barrels shall come with vouchers for suppressors.

In exchange, both the AWB, the machinegun ban of '86, GCA of 68 and NFA of 34 all go bye bye

2a) Shotguns with more than one tube such as the Neostead (how many do those hold?) shall be exempt.

4. No honest man needs a singlestack .45ACP magazine that hold more than 15 rounds. Those shall remain a felony to posess.

I voted "other" since it doesnt require a vote to let it sunset. That is the beauty of the provision. Congress is good at getting nothing done which works in this case.

Does this mean that I cant have my Legacy Escort 18" 7+1 12ga? Or is it a strict "AND" meaning that both have to happen to be banned?


Anyway, I vote to kill it with a medium powered Intermediate Cartridge. Assault weapons dont shoot high-powered ammo in Semi-auto. (I dont consider the .308 a high power, more a moderate power, and I dont consider the BAR to be an assault weapon.)

I picked "Other" and now will "please explain".

I think that the 2nd Amendment (and the 1st, and the 4th, 5th, etc.) mean EXACTLY what they say.

"Congress shall make no law" means "Congress shall MAKE NO LAW".

"Shall not be infringed" MEANS "Shall not be infringed".

If you say something to someone, and they try to hit you, then you should be ready to take some lumps, or give some. If they cant handle being called a wetheaded camelbilly grasshopper jockey, or whatever you call them, they need to grow a thicker skin. And if they choose to fight, and you get thumped, then YOU need to not go around calling people names. Likewise, if they get thumped, then maybe they shouldnt be so eager to solve their problem with you with fists.

Firearms dont exist for 'sporting purposes', although that IS a nice benefit of them being around. They exist for one reason, and one reason only: to project force. Whether you project force on a piece of paper, a clay pigeon, or a corrupt politician. Registrations, regulation, bans, etc., they are ALL infringements.

Having $2000 cash on your person doesnt justify the police to search you, take your money, go thru your house, seize your property, etc.
