lee .45 acp dies back ordered until summer on Midway and seem to be pushing $50 a crack on fleabay

thanks Mr President ...

anyone got Lee dies in 9 mm Mak, 7.62 x 25 or 45 acp they don't need?

:D

I finally got my hands on a set of hornady .44 mag dies. Then I buy the wrong darn powder:banghead:. I just can't win sometimes.

Midway had Redding 45 ACP Carbide 3 die sets in stock as recently as last week for $61.00. If I am going to pay $50 for the Lee, I'll pony up the extra $11 and get the Redding instead.

Also, you can mix and match dies from different mfg. from ebay, or local gunshows... you can build a workable set that way...

i recently got the 4 die lee 45acp set from Midway ,, also have powder, primers, brass, and some 230gr plated RN , now need to get me something to shoot it in.

I sold my .380 some years back, but I stilll have my RCBS dies. Same for 32.20, except those dies are Redding.

People who are paying those prices must want them right now real bad. Not that I have never overpaid for something, I have.

Primers and powder have been difficult to get lately, but this is the first time I heard about loading die shortages. I assume that is a message being sent, but possibly I'm to slow to realize the meaning.
