Not sure if this is the right place for this, but here goes....Have a M94 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser (18" bbl, bent bolt) along w/ 2 model96's, one of which has been sporterized(great learning experience). Love the cartridge and ANY Mauser action. I'm getting too old to see the fixed sights and the target at the same time so I want to make a "Scout Rifle". Darrell doesn't make Mauser Scout mounts, B-square seems to be the only game in town. They OK?

I have two of their mounts that I use on my shotguns during deer season. Never had a problem with either one.

Can't say for sure about B-Square's other mounts, but their M1A mounts are, IMHO, worthless pieces of scrap metal.

I've used them on Mausers (m48's), Mosins (M44's and 91-30's) and my SKS. Never had a problem once I got them lined up, which can be a trick, and locktited them good, which is a must. Some people report poor performance, but I've had good luck with them.

NO!

Don't get it. Had one - it would NOT hold a zero - not a solid mounting contraption on a swede.

Having said that, generally I like B square stuff.

I had the same Scout rifle itch with a 94 Swede carbine. The B-Square mount I bought for the project had to be modified. If your rear sight on the 94 pivots toward the receiver , the B-Square mount will have to be milled to fit over the block located toward the muzzle end of the rear sight base. Once that little glitch was corrected it worked fine. The B-Square folks said that mine was the second Swede carbine they'd heard of with the rear pivot sight, but I saw 2 carbines at a recent gun show & both rear sights were like mine. Just a heads -up.
