I use the GAP extensions and I really like them. I have shot a G-27 with them as well, not a 33 but it should be about the same. Helps the control and keeps the gun small like it should be.
Years of small grip j-frame shooting makes the "tuck the pinky" grip feel totally natural for me. (and I do have above average size hands).

I have the Pearce pinky extension on the magazine of my G27. It allows better control and reliability is 100%. I no longer use the +1 or + 2 versions as I had some reliability issues with them.

When I first shot a G26, I hated it. I have large hands (G17 is what I normally shoot with) and it was very hard to hang onto. Then I shot one with a Pearce Grip PG26-XL, and it's a totally different gun, with full control and you can really hang on to it much better. The G26 is my favorite carry gun now.

I'm even thinking of getting a second one for the wife to carry on a belt. The PG26-XL Pearce grip looks identical to the finger grips on the gun, almost like Glock made the part, adding one full size finger grip, but no extra capacity. The G26 is the smallest Glock, therefore it's the easiest to conceal. I carry mine on a Galco belt/holster with a vest or jacket over it.

If you get sights for it, see if you can get a slightly narrower front sight, something like .125" instead of the stock .140" width. This gives you the same sight picture as the larger G17, because of the shorter sight distance. I would recommend the Ameriglo GL-147 Operator sights, and I love them.

Sorry off topic, but are there pinky grip extensions for an XD40. I shoot my subcompact much better with the extended mag in it than I do the 9 rd shorty

Everytime I introduce a lady to my Glock 26 she has to have it. I gave up on the 27, the recoil is too fierce even for me to be combat effective with (many) more than a million pistol rounds under my belt. I think I could manage a .357 Sig mini, but what is the point?
