What kind of trigger do you have in it?
According to DPMS it has a two stage match trigger.

I hope my .223 mark 12 shoots better than that!
Well I'm happy with my .308. 2moa out of the box with factory ammo aint too bad at 200 yards IMHO. Again it's no match rifle but with some load development I bet I can get moa at 200. And as I reported earlier the rifle will shoot sub moa at 100 with me doing my part.

Sightron scope may not be helping either.
Really? Care to elaborate?

Also folks please realize not every time you go out and shoot will you have dime sized groups. I find the groups today to be more of my usual for 200 yard shooting.

That might be what they claim, but how does the trigger pull actually feel?

And as far as I'm aware, Sightron SII's are fairly good scopes. I wouldn't consider it something to worry about when it comes to accuracy.

It feels good for an AR, light and crisp. I guess the aftermarket ones are better something like a bolt action's trigger?

That's what I thought, I consider them up their with Bushnell Elites. As a matter of fact I was debating between the Sightron and an Elite 4200 and went with the Sightron and I think it is amazing, hands down the best scope I have ever owned.

I have an LR-308 plan Jane 24 inch. The first thing I did was change out the trigger. Now it'll shoot 1/2 inch with the right load seems to like 168 grain A-Max's, Winchester brass and 43 grains of 4895!

My .308 does...
