Background Checks For Ammunition Purchases

That's why it's bogus and nothing but another unconstitutional impediment. And our Republic has become so brainwashed by false propaganda they continue to believe the lies and have no actual ability to think.

Things are now beyond strange. Glad Heartland America is still around. The brainwashed Amerikans haven't the skills necessary to survive what is now just on the horizon.

Tragic all this. Born in the first Eisenhower administration, raised by G.Depression and WWII veterans. Grandparents born just before and after 1900.

What others here and I have seen is deeply nauseating and anger-inducing.

From what I here, the New York Ammo check is in operation as of Sept. 19 and 75% of purchases are delayed or back ordered due to
the "banana republic" chaos it is causing.
Wisconsin, I believe, tried something like that after the Robert Kennedy assassination.
But it too was nothing but a big mess. Within a month, background call-ins were cancelled to writing and signing a piece of paper. And then state government was literally flooded with paper it could not handle or more like could not figure how to file it. I don't believe it was anti-gun, rather some idiot thought it would be easy to back trace for crimes committed with a gun. The good part was it showed how stupid it is to serial number cartridges, firing pins and all the other b.s. politicians think up. Within a year the whole thing was quietly "swept under the carpet" and quietly forgotten. Some idiot thought it would be easy assigning each box or and then each case a serial number, send each to a particular store and sold to a particular person and called it in as a background check. ya right!
They didn't quite figure how much ammo is shot at a turkey shoot or trap league or even with the Boy Scouts every weekend. Remember Robert Kennedy was shot with a rimfire .22
Ps. Some organization has already filed a lawsuit claiming a violation of the 2nd amendment under SCOTUS Heller or Bruen ruling.

also remember, however that this is NY and they will continue to screw up what ever they can while believing they are the leading trend setters in the new world. I actually believe the more they F-up the more they think they’re doing a great job.
So many of the so called “leaders” in Albany have no clue about firearms (or care) they don’t even realize that the 100 rounds of .22 lr is not a hoard of ammunition so to speak, nor do they care.

I would expect Ct. to follow NY driving ammo prices higher maybe with an ammo tax or background checks. Ct. DPS is already difficult to get through to for background checks requiring an FFL to call repeatedly before getting through. CT already requires a state permit to purchase ammo.
