Between .45acp and .45lc (and for fun throw in the .45gap if you want)

Im talking about penetration depth into balistic jelly, typical grain loads, magazine capicities, muzzle velocity, actual size difference etc.....
 
In the standard loading and original bullets penetrations would be about equal. The ACP would be a 230 grainer and the Colt would be a 250 grainer. The ACP held 7 rounds and the Colt held 6. Both muzzle velocities were held around 850 fps (+/-). The ACP bullet was .452" diameter and the Colt was .454". The Colt has a much larger case because it came from the blackpowder era and blackpowder have more bulk than smokeless powder.
Since the .45 Colt was a very effective cartridge the ACP was designed to match it's performance in the newer semi-auto pistol.
The GAP is just a shortened ACP with minor adjustments so that it will fit in the smaller grip frame of the 9mm sized pistols.
