Shots fired from 10 feet distance into a 10% gelatin block faced with 4 layers of 14 ounce denim cloth (to simulate heavy winter clothing).
Shot 1 - Impacted at 918 ft/sec, penetrated to 15.5" in the gelatin and ~ 4" into a loosely packed sandbag placed behind the block. Bullet was recovered at 0.663" average length, 0.353" average diameter and 157.1gr weight.
Shot 2 - Impacted at 896 ft/sec, penetrated to 15.5" in the gelatin and ~ 4" into a loosely packed sandbag placed behind the block. Bullet was recovered at 0.667" average length, 0.354" average diameter and 157.2gr weight.
Shot 3 - Impacted at 919 ft/sec, penetrated to 15.5" in the gelatin and ~ 4" into a loosely packed sandbag placed behind the block. Bullet was recovered at 0.676" average length, 0.353" average diameter and 157.1gr weight.
Shot 4 - Impacted at 904 ft/sec, penetrated to 15.5" in the gelatin and ~ 4" into a loosely packed sandbag placed behind the block. Bullet was recovered at 0.679" average length, 0.355" average diameter and 157.4gr weight.
Shot 5 - Impacted at 875 ft/sec, penetrated to 15.5" in the gelatin and ~ 4" into a loosely packed sandbag placed behind the block. Bullet was recovered at 0.674" average length, 0.354" average diameter and 157.3gr weight.
Shots 2 and 5 experienced tumbling at around 6" penetration depth. This yaw cycle was complete at ~ 9" penetration depth.
