WOW! What a difference!
I've been loading/shooting Barnes TSX 85 grn HPBT in my 243 with a .050 bullet jump. (Barnes' suggested starting bullet jump.) and That got about 1.5 to 1.75" groups at 100 yards. That created an overly long COAL. On a lark, I loaded up some with the same projectile and power charge, but I loaded it to the Barnes manual specified COAL of 2.645, which dramatically increased the bullet jump to the lands. Groups immediately dropped to 3/4" at 100, 1" at 200, and 3" at 300. Amazing.
