Barrel back from Metaloy

So you remember, I posted I really liked my new Bersa Thunder Pro UC 9mm...operationally flawless...but really hated the barrel finish. It was a flat black nitride that just showed wear immediately and just did not match the finish of the rest of the gun ...so I sent it here

They did an awesome job and total turnaround from ship out to return was 2 /12 weeks. I am impressed. Will try it out this weekend for operation but from what I can see (loaded, racked, ejected, repeat) all functions seem as normal. Will see how it wears. I have to say too that Chris from Metaloy was VERY responsive and for $40...worth every penny...Thanks Chris !!!

Yep- I rarely look at too big pics or (not the case here) read long posts without paragraphs or typed with no punctuation or capitalization and little attention to spelling.

I'm not sure I would have done it -- but it looks good, and for $40 you resolved an issue that was irritating to you.

If it performs the same and looks better, that was a pretty inexpensive fix (cheaper than some grips) -- and a nagging dislike is now gone!

For $40 it looks very nicely finished. If you're pleased with the results then it was money well spent.

Man, I'd love my entire UC9 to have such a finish (yeah, I'm aware the frame is alloy). My only gripe with the UC9 is the finish as well. Otherwise, the UC9 is an awesome pistol for the money, IMO.
I was thinking of having my UC9 coated in something desert tan but have always preferred a flat stainless/chrome/nickel finish.

I resized them to make viewing easier.

OP- if you have a reason for having them bigger...like pointing out a feature...let me know and I'll see what I can do
