Barrel break in

What is the proper prosedure for breaking in a new barrel on a gun that is designed to run full auto?
I got a new rifle, semi auto, but the rifle is designed as a full auto gun. So what is the best way to get the best accuracy from it?

just take it out and shoot it. since it's full auto, shoot it in short bursts.

would breaking in the barrel really help that much on a full auto gun?

The gun is only semi, but my thinking is the same as yours, to shoot and enjoy.
I've had other people tell me to shoot once, clean, shot once etc.

Maby I'll do that the day I get a superduper (TM) sharpshooter rifle, but a semi is a semi...
