I've got a 510cal BMG blank I need to get turned down for my Steyr M95 build in 50 Alaskan. From what I've read, the interface is similar to a Mauser re-barrel (i.e. shoulder, threads, and extractor notch), but first I need to get the 2.5" diameter blank turned down to a light sporter profile for this brush rifle.

I assume this isn't something any Jimbo with lathe can do, so I'm soliciting reccomendations for a good smith or machinist in Dallas who has experience turning down barrel profiles. It'd be nice if they are also qualified to do the chamber and interface work, as well.

I still need to do a little research and math to figure out exactly what profile I want to go with, but it will be a simple round taper of some sort with enough meat at the end to attach a front sight. OAL of about 20", I think (I have 24" to work with). 50AK operates at under 40,000psi so I should be able to remove quite a bit of material (barrel is currently ~20lbs :D)
