i have a Steyr SSG P-IIk and i think its only been shot 300 times at most. its in 308. how new is it? whats the going price for my gun? im looking to re scope it to, any ideas? ty tom

1st I have no idea of your rifles value.
The barrel life will depend on how it was treated, was it shot hot? Did it get damaged dureing cleaning? Ect. The 308 should with a little TLC last at least 4-5K rds with good hunting accuracy and much more for self defence accuracy. I wouldn`t worry too much over 300 rds.

well, you can get a borescope, but the only thing that matters is "does it still shoot?" and there's only one good way to answer that question
