I think there have been a couple threads on this. It'd be nice to try out and play with, but I couldn't justify buying it.

It'd be nice to know how accurate one could be with it though.

Bump firing, yes I have done it, is not very accurate at all. Sure you can put a lot of rounds down range in a short amount of time, think suppressive fire, but it is a waste of ammo if you hit nothing. Suppressive fire has it's place, the local range is not it.

And again, please don't think I am trying to talk anyone out of it. Would it be fun? If it were not my ammo, heck yeah! But for my needs it is a no go.

Bump firing is for the rich... ?

Not really using it with my 7.62x25 AR upper is no more expensive with the surplus ammo than shooting off fireworks when you get down to it.

Using a 9mm upper and reloads would be about the same.

Its a lot of fun, but the novelity wears off quickly we were getting 5-10 round bursts into about a 4' diameter circle at ~80 yards. I think this could improve with practice.

Ive actually fired an AR with this setup on it, and it was surprisingly accurate and easy to control. Still not sure I'd splurge on it?

Here's a review I posted (which is now featured on the Slide Fire Solution website):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0BgLk1i9yY

It shows you how it works, how to install it and gives you some general info on the product.

Regardless if you agree with the principal or if you have a problem with the price, the device works. It works very well.
