Can you use a SSAR-15 bump fire stock on a .22 AR-15

Will this gun work with an SSAR-15 bump fire stock?

I wanted to buy a S&W 15-22 and get an SSAR-15 stock on it so I can make it shoot faster. This would be much more affordable then a 9mm or 5.56 because its $15 for a box of 525. My question is would it have enough kick to be able to bump fire with the SSAR-15 bump fire. This is the gun i wanted to buy:

How does he get it to work? It is the same rifle and is a 22lr, i don't really understand how it has enough recoil for it to work that well.

Ditto to waht Rail Driver said.

They said it wouldn't work with .22LR when I got it, but I had to try anyway with my Spike's tactical .22LR upper, they were right, not even close to enough recoil to work it.

Works great with my AR 7.62x25 upper. It would me a lot more fun if it worked with .22LR uppers because of much lower operating costs, for sure.

I've tried it with CCI mini mags, CCI stingers and Aguila 60gr subsonics as well as federal bulk pack. None of them function the bump-fire action.

Think about it.
In order for that stock to work, the fired round would have to provide enough energy to overcome the entire front part of the rifle's inertia, and then move the entire front part of the rifle rearward on the sliding stock mechanism with enough force that it can rebound forward again for the next "bump" of the trigger. You're asking one hell of a lot for a tiny little .22lr round, considering that they don't even kick hard enough for most people to notice any recoil whatsoever. It's not going to move a (relatively) heavy AR in a reciprocating fashion.
