Have any of you installed the battlehook sights on a glock? I am sure I can get he old sight out without too much trouble. I don't want to find out half way through the process that I need a smith to finish the job.

Have any of you used these sights? If I am going to spend the coin on night sights, I want the hook feature. I can live with the sight extending slightly past the back end of the slide.

I have factory Glock and Meprolight (same thing Ive been told), and they do the "hook" thing just fine, and I can have 2-3 sets for the price of the BattleHooks.

Not these particular sights, but I'm non too mechanically inclined and didn't have a problem installing XS Big Dots on a Glock 34. Just take your time, make sure you have all necessary tools on hand, and follow instructions. Even it doesn't go well, you'd be highly unlikely to permanently screw up the gun. And if it does go well, it's a fun project for which you get pride of ownership.

As for the sights themselves, they appear to me to be a solution looking for a problem. Any metal sights with a 90º front edge from a reputable manufacturer tend to be easy to execute slide manipulation off of boot heels, belts, holsters, table edges, etc.

YMMV.
