BCM BCG in stock

Keep an eye on Palmetto State Armory's website. They have had mil-spec BCG's in stock there several times over the last few weeks, and they tend to stay in stock for much longer than the .02 seconds they are in stock at BCM's website. They are also less expensive - about $180 versus $225 at BCM.

stock status: out of stock

Stock status is likely to change in 50 minutes. They were in stock somewhere around 30 minutes before I posted. Not going to last forever.

"We are all in the fight for the 2nd Amendment together. So we all need to participate in our democratic process.
Pricing of this BCM Bolt Carrier Group is priced above our normal selling price, but still about half the market rates. Additional profits will be donated by Bravo Company to the NRA."

I'm pretty sure the PSA BCGs are usually mil. spec. M16 BCGs that are contract overruns from the FN plant in NC.

Should be good to go!

I would very much like to know your basis for that assumption.

There's been some controversy over some of the BCGs PSA has been selling lately over on ARFCOM

That's very laudable ~~ I am an NRA member and I donate to them as well.

The FN Manufacturing plant is in Columbia, South Carolina. Not North Carolina.

Palmetto State Armory is also located in Columbia, South Carolina. The rumor has long been that PSA gets many of its parts from the same suppliers that supply FN. They are not necessarily made by FN, with the exception of many PSA barrels.

$225!? What a difference a panic makes. I paid $150 shipped for my BCM BCG last year.

Supply and Demand.

Prices were creeping up anyway, too. Even before Newtown quality BCGs, including BCM, were becoming difficult to locate. BCM was usually out of stock and they literally sold out in minutes (like, 5 minutes) when they did come in stock. For $159 + shipping. BEFORE Newtown.

yeah, i had two builds back in the fall that i couldn't find BCGs for. i had to scavenge my spare for one and the other is still empty. or "gutless" is the preferred term i guess now

Heck, I paid $139.00 a few years back (and now glad that I bought 2 back then).

I paid $159 + shipping for two of them the week of Newtown. Well, I ordered them just over a week before and they arrived that Monday (shooting was that Friday). I got really lucky on the timing just to be able to get those (I figured out their scheduling at that time and bought them before the emails even went out by refreshing the page every 30 seconds during the release window).

And then the shooting happened and I thought about selling them on Gunbroker to make a few hundred bucks, but kept them instead. One for myself and one for my dad. His is still just a spare, but I used mine to assemble a complete rifle that is mostly BCM, so I'm glad I kept it.

dave kiff @ pacific tool will be offering BCGs soon. (1500 of them due in soon)

email him for details dave @ kifftool.com

Same here, I bought a Daniel Defense BCG for $130 three years ago that went into a DD build, then $135 and $150 for BCMs that went into BCM and PSA builds. Those were the days!

But Rainier's $189 BCM is a good deal today if you're quick on the draw.
