BE-86

Just bought the last three pounds they had at Cabela's. I do believe the recent Walmart decision may cause a run on supplies.

Sport pistol is faster burning, I wonder why BE 86 is not available in a 4lb container ?
Sport pistol has the 4lb offering I just bought one a few months ago

On my 14th pound of be-86 and loving it in 9mm. Haven’t tried it yet in 38 or 357, but may when I run out of bullseye. With RMR 124 grain bullets or Gold Dots it is just super. Works equally well with 124 cast and coated.

This is the first I have heard that BE-86 was still being made. I bought one lb about three years ago and used enough for about 50 rounds. I thought it had died.

It seems to have died around here, I've been specifically looking for it for several months to try some heavy bullet 9mm loads, and haven't seen any in town. I used to see it a few places around town, but that's probably been a year or two ago now.

Powder Valley is offering free shipping on $149+ orders (Must include Starline brass in order). $133.95 for 8 lbs of BE-86 is lowest I have seen in recent years. Even with HazMat fee, it should be comparable to LGS prices and you can add primers ($28/1000) for same HazMat and no shipping charge. ;)

same in my area the local sportsman's used stock it but last month they had a sale on BE86 $19 a pound until they ran out, I asked a few days ago when they will get more in and he
said that it was not on the reorder list ? I asked why as it is such a popular powder and he had no idea why so I figured it was just them so I ordered some online

I usually get my powders from SW, they have a pretty good variety, that's where I used to see BE-86 most often. I know some of the local PRS types wrote letters to their corporate office asking why the local store wouldn't carry popular powders like RL16 and RL26, those powders showed up shortly after that, so maybe that's the answer.
