Lets see them !!!!

Here is my latest pup - a kinda runty Dutch Shepherd. Shes 8 months now and i have her agility training every evening ( and mornings when she has extra energy after the 3mile run ). She gets a funky mix of raw diet and eukanuba puppy formula and organic yogurt. The mrs and I give her about 7-10miles per day in walks with some extra retrieval play time here and there. Most of her time is spent still in obedience and word recognition though ( hey she's still young! :neener: )

Breeder? Hell no. Pound puppy or die! the crazy part is we (wifey and i) had to drive to another county to get her.. twice. when all was said and done, it was 2 round trips equaling 714miles  - the beast was worth it imho , shes a good dog

the mrs wanted to name her "Ms Piggy" bc of that pic

the backside of me - this was 3months after a MX track decided it didnt like my right leg, notice the atrophy. More importantly, Hildegard is about 2.5months here

last 2 pics she was weighing around 48lbs. Shes up to a whopping 58lbs now ( seeing these pics makes me realize just how big she has gotten ) and ive been doing bite work with her - albeit its a playful nature and she's still no guard dog, but one hell of a pointer / retriever

so ? Beasts of the Hunt - gotta have dog lovers here :D

You got a working line shepherd to soften her bite enough to retrieve? My old GSD would not only crush tree limbs, he'd uproot trees and carry them around! A duck would have turned to warm liquid goo by the time he brought it back. And then he'd demand I throw it again. Great biter, but not too good for fowling.

Shes a sweet heart tbch.

I initially was interested in her for 2 rolls : family dog and motorcycle / home guardian.

#1 roll - amazing. Total softy. #2 roll ? didn't pan out so good

Its just about "rough housing time" for her and me. Basically i work on schooling her bite on my own naked forearm and "good girl" / "too strong" trained her from there.

Sure she sounds vicious but shes just a total sweet heart. Great ( i'm hoping ) for foul and family pet --- not so good for home / motorcycle collection defense  thats ok tho right? thats why we own firearms right? :D

I'll get the mrs to video me letting her maul my arm here in a few and post it on the youtube and follow up. The mouth is what you train for.

I do this in some form or shape everyday. Read the video description - but basically its been 4months + since she was just 25lbs of differentiating bite strength depending on verbal commands.

Shepherds are very smart - their owners? only as far as they are trained lol ;)

she also has a current vertical leap of about 3feet 4inches ( shes mid growth spurt and is a little heavy - sleep , grow, wake , explode, repeat :p :D )
