Beautiful Colt.

Someone is eventually going to win this factory engraved and lettered Colt. I've seen it as high as $1,700.00 dollars and still the reserve not met. I've bid on it a few times and have given up.

I've gone up close to that Fingers and he won't budge. Interesting that it looks to be a 'C' Series Second Generation Colt from the box and inners, purchased in 1981 and well into the 'F' Series.

They were gong nutso over a Third Generation Paterson a few weeks back. I dropped out at $1,000.00 and they were still going at it. I think it sold for a little under $1,600.00.

He had two pythons for sale for $14,500 buy it now for the pair. Bidding stopped at $2600. I have a firm belief that in auctions things, all things, sell for what they are actually worth in the current market.

Interesting that it looks to be a 'C' Series Second Generation Colt from the box and inners, purchased in 1981 and well into the 'F' Series.

Many of the engraved models were done in the 80s from C series stocks that had been set aside. SN of this one puts it at the tail end of the C series models.
