There are at least 2 different Bicentennial Colt Dragoons that are part of a 3 gun set along with a Colt Python and a Single Action Army.
One is the "plain Jane" Colt Dragoon with the standard engraved features. The set that's listed with an unknown reserve price on Gunbroker just renewed after bidding went up to $4250 without meeting the reserve price. This listing has 43 photos:

The other set that includes a Bicentennial Colt Dragoon is known as "Set B" and these guns have deluxe engraving. One of these sets is listed on Gunbroker for $5,900 with an unknown reserve price, and it has an $18,900 buy now price. This listing has 69 photos:

A gun dealer who is a friend of mine told me that he has one of the lesser expensive sets for sale (Serial #66). But since he has it stored away, I searched on Gunbroker to see what it looks like and to compare the price. :)

They are interesting sets. Unfortunately, they are not listed in any of the price books so value is whatever someone is willing to pay - I guess. There is also no information that I am aware of as to how many were engraved. Supposedly, none; but there have been three or four that have popped up in the last few years. There was a total of 1776 sets made in 1976. According to Dennis Russel, a lot of the sets have been broken up over the years; which makes sense, since there have been a couple of the 3 drawer cases with Armsmear Books for sale on GB lately; and, I have one of the Dragoons with accessories from a broken up set.

There's a third one on GB arcticap, with a Buy Now of $4850

I believe that one has been listed before. If the SAA and Python didn't have all that commemorative engraving i would seriously consider them. I never thought I would see a ugly Python...
