I purchased a Browning .270 awhile back and have not been able to find much info on when this gun was made. The serial number is L134* and there are numerous stamps and symbols on the opposite side of the receiver. The gun came with a 4X Redfield (separated by an upside down reversed L) Tube scope. I took this gun to the range last week and it shoots great. I understand there was some problems with salt treated wood on some of these rifles but I can't find any signs of rust anywhere on this one). I believe it may be a Safari but I'm really not positive. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
