I have a pocket clip on my P32 and love it. Never tried a clip on a full size gun or revolver and never held one with a clip so I can't say that its not for me, but I do love it on my P32. It sits flush on my waist.

I do not have one and would not feel comfortable using one. Why not just get a $15 neoprene holster instead? It compresses almost exactly as thin, covers the trigger guard and is a whole lot more comfortable than a gun rubbing against your leg.

The one exception I could see would be a gun like a PF9 clipped inside the pocket of a coat where the material was thick enough to resemble a holster...and as long as there was nothing else in the pocket.

I have a Barami Hip Grip combined with a Tyler T Grip on a J frame. Very comfortable way to carry and it conceals better than any holster I've tried. And believe me, I've tried a lot.
That said I would not use it on a Glock, or other pistol that did not have a long, heavy trigger pull like a DA revolver.

Never had one, will make one one of these days.

Belt Clip for a M1911 would be nice...ditto for a Model 10 S&W Revolver.

My IWB Holsters are all 'Clip' type...seems there could be occasions where just a Clip itself ( albeit tending to be a lot narrower than what a Clip Holster has, ) would be fine.

All my carry guns are holstered. Although I would love the convenience of a belt clip I love my body more. If it has a trigger, it gets a holster.

Post #2 pretty well nailed it. Not much to add.

I guess one way to look at it is, somebody has to have accidental discharges. They can't make those statics up. :neener:

Thou Shall ABHOR the mention of using Belt Clips, according to all GUN FORUM Gospel!

I use a Factory Belt Clip on my KT P-11 as I have found it the most pleasurable way to carry it. I carry it in the I guess 3-4 oclock position.

I am in no way concerned about an n.d. as the already "long & heavy trigger" is completely covered by you guess it my pants.

Which brings me to a curious question.....Does anyone have actual cited proof of a case in which a single person has had a n.d. using a belt clip.

clipdraw.com

Both are in stock, ready to ship. I also use the "universal" for other guns, as well as my cellphone.

Agree with all of the safety issues without a doubt, but I have at certain times in my career had to go deep. There have been times when the P32 and it's clip was the only solution available, and it worked perfectly. It's still on there, but only because it does not interfere with regular use...I simply haven't taken it off.

I carried mine again today - this makes make 8 or 9 days, but I still carry it chamber empty. Still, I'm getting closer to declaring it okay to carry chamber-loaded for me.

I used to carry my PT-111 with a clip draw.

I was pleasantly surprised how secure it was.

IMHO, getting the trigger snagged is a very legitimate concern, however, and I wouldn't do this with a round in the chamber unless the gun had a manual safety (which mine does).

I "flipped" to pancake holsters exclusively and haven't looked back since.

I just can't abide IWB any more.
