Couldn’t find much info on the search so I decided to make a new thread. How are Benelli m3 convertible shotguns, Fit/finish, reliability, and ergonomics? They looked really neat.

I don't own one, but I have shot a couple. The ones I've shot were well put together and ran well. I found them to feel really heavy though. I think the pump feature was designed so that special light loads like less lethal rounds could be used (since these would not cycle to the semi-auto mode), but I'm not positive about that (I read it on the internet

In my opinion, it is a neat concept if you ever need to use it, but one that I never foresaw myself using, and the extra weight was a turnoff. I got an M1 for an auto, and I'll stick to a separate 870 for my pump gun needs.
