Benjamin Armada

What do you guys think about the Benjamin Armada?
I'm seriously considering one.

I think an armada is $979 from PA and a marauder can be had well under $500. They are the same rifle other than the stock they sit in. If it looks cool enough to double the price of the rifle, go for it.

I don't know if your new to PCP rifles or not but understand that the cost of the rifle alone will not be your "all in" cost to shoot it. You are going to need a way to fill it and that can range from a few hundred to more than a thousand dollars.

Initially, I was looking at a few guns from AirForce but the pressures required a scuba rig or similar. With the Armada, you can use a hand pump which is considerably cheaper.

They operate at 3000 psi, you can had pump to that pressure but it's not what I would call fun. A Discovery at 2000 psi is a lot less work, even if it's not fun either.

You will be spending more time pumping that shooting if you are plinking/target shooting. Would be fine for hunting where you might have a few shots or none.
