I have a Bennelli, Nova, 12 ga. shotgun that simply wont fire in temperatures under 35 degrees. i have changed oils and cleaned to perfect condition. What is happening is the firing pin does not strike the primer hard enough to fire the shell. The firing pin leaves a small dent in the primer and that is all. All mechanisms work perfectly and in warmer weather, it fires perfectly. I am trying to find a way to fix the problem without buying a new gun. thank you for your input.
