How are these guns as far as reliability goes? I am thinking of getting one for a deep concealment gun or back up gun. I have a j-frame .38 I use for pocket carry also this would be a back up for that gun. I've looked at the keltec p32 and don't like it much so Iam leaning toword the beretta. I've also heard some of the p32's are picky at times is this true?

I know anything in .22,.25,.32 are all mouse guns so to speak. But I go by the motto of a .32 in hand beats a .45 at home. Also a .25 to a badguys face god forbid it is better then saying "please don't hurt me." So whats you take on this gun?

The Beretta Jetfire is the most reliable pocket pistol on the market. I've owned two, and never had a failure of any kind with any of them.

I've had a Jetfire for years.
The one problem I had was that the barrel tipped up once while firing. I believe that the catch wasn't fully seated. It literally field stripped itself in my hand; slide came off, etc.
I called Beretta while I was still at the range. To say that they were less than helpful would be an understatement. That kind of put me off with Beretta, especially with the tip-up barrel models.

I now carry a P-32 (and soon a P-3AT) but will say that the Jetfire has never had any type of malfunction since. Two other friends of mine bought Tip-up Berettas the same week I did and have had no problems.

I bought one used so I do not know how many rounds it had but I have about 150 through it with no problem. Light and small and surprisingly accurrate. There is good selection of ammo and magazines available.

My Beretta 950s (.25 and .22 short) have been excellent little pistols. The .22 short is now retired (a little small in the caliber dept. and .22 short is hard to find in my neck of the woods anyway) but the .25 sees mucho service when nothing else will fit (like @ the beach). I also have a model 21 in .25. It's pretty nice, holds a couple extra rounds, and is double-action (not much of an issue for me). The two pistols are very similar but the 950 is smaller. I don't think I've had any firearms-related failures w/ either gun. The 950 is my favorite of the two. It has the parkerized finish and has always struck me as a 1/4 scale military pistol :) . It's ridiculously tiny, inexpensive, and way cool. You can't go wrong.

BERETTA 950 in .25 ACP is small, cute and reliable however it feels like a brick compared to my Kel Tec p32 which is small, ugly, reliable and about as heavy as a pack of cigarettes.

PS. My 950 has to go back for repair as it has cracks in the slide.:)

Ditto, very reliable, and pretty accurate as well. I find mine a lot of fun to plink with, but the ammo is too expensive to do much of that. I am very fond of my Jetfire and would like to get an inox (stainless) version one of these days.

Why buy the .25 when the Kel-tec .380 is nearly out? If you are looking for small and light....

I own an INOX Jetfire 25ACP...

I purchased it as an "impulse buy". I was walking out of my regular gun shop, after "taking inventory" :) and feeling kind of "empty", ~The ol' "I want a new gun syndrome", when I looked down and there it was. As I've said before, I keep nine Hornady XTP's in mine. It's been perfect with all types of ammo including .25ACP Magsafes. I purchased some of those Silverwood grips like Lendringser has, but switched to the smooth, all walnut grips that the "EL" model Jetfire had. The Jetfire is in my rotation of pocket pistols. Of course, I always carry something bigger on my hip. (And maybe~~on my leg too! Ya'see, as another "impulse buy", I picked up a Galco Ankle Glove. A great ankle holster for a spare J-frame.)
