I have seen some discussing this firearm. With your permission, let me tell you about my experience with it, and Beretta in general.

I purchased this gun at the end of October 2021. I was confident it would be good in that it was the INOX version manufactured in 2021, and that the frame cracking issues of earlier production had been addressed.

I used ammo with the recommended ballistics (PMC 71 gr FMJ), but the gun absolutely would not cycle with it. Switched to Fiocchi 73 gr FMJ. The gun cycled beautifully. Accuracy was great, and shooting at the range was enjoyable.

Fast forward less than 500 rounds, and (you guessed it) problems arose. I tried contacting Beretta customer service and got nothing but crickets. Fortunately, the is a Beretta Gallery store not too far from where I live, so I took it there for repair.

Call from the gunsmith the next day. The frame was cracked AND this was not covered under warranty. He then wanted to charge me $125 to overnight the gun to Maryland which I get back IF customer service decided to do anything.

I told him to destroy the gun since it was nothing but a paperweight. Now have a lot of .32 ACP ammo to get rid of.

Welcome to the forum agg.

That is so unacceptable and this gun addict will not ever buy a Tomcat. I only own one Beretta and have no others on my radar.

The safety failed on mine. Somehow the detent and spring came loose. I was trying to sort how to fix it and it was stolen in a house robbery. They seem to do okay with the twenty five caliber stuff. But the tomcat is just problematic. It shot like a larger gun. But I would never buy another.
