beretta 84fs

im looking at a beretta 84fs. does anybody own one of these? i have a m9 and like it. i ran into a 84 and loved its size. i can pack it easy. but the price is kinda high so i thought i would do some research on it. any body have any problems with one?

I have the single stack version, the M85FS which I prefer due to is slimness. The 84/85 series are the best .380's available. Buy with confidence.

No worries mate. They are accurate, reliable, and fun to shoot. Very good looking pistol also. The only negative is their high price, but that is quickly forgotten after you shoot one. I carry mine when I want something a little lighter/slimmer than my CZ PCR or HK P7.

If you search is other auctions you will see he has a dozen 84's and 84f's for between ~$250-$310.

My 84B carries like a small pistol but it shoots like a service pistol (due in no small part to it's great trigger). The pistol has never had a hiccup in over 500 rounds. It has quickly become one of my favorite pistols to bring to the range and use as a CCW.

I have the Browning version of this gun the BDA. Mine is nickel plated and performs like a champ. It has been my CCW gun for about a year and a half now. After approx 2500-3000 rounds fired. I have had one failure to fire. Due to the way I grip the gun my thumb sometimes rides the slide. This cause the round not to go fully into battery. I second strike by shooting DA fired the round without a problem.

My wife has the slimmer single stack 85FS version. Excellent pistol. I almost bought the 84 for myself, but the trigger guard smacked the crap out of my trigger finger when I fired it. I went with the CZ83, another fine .380 and about $250 - $300 dollars cheaper than the Beretta. The Beretta is however one of the nicest, sexiest .380's made, right up there with my 92FS Inox!

Either model, 84 or 85, while not the thinnest, most concealable guns, they are top quality, very reliable and easy to shoot well.

You'll love it, the wife will love it and so will all your/her family and friends. Even some known Beretta haters have admitted to admiring our nickel 84FS.....Just about everyone that looks at it or shoots it wants to buy it.....Sorry it's not for sale.

It may shoot the somewhat anemic .380 but otherwise it's a hell of a defense pistol. Compact with 14 rounds, absolutely as reliable as any, natural pointing, extremely quick shooting and right back on target. Did I mention classy? If you can't get it done with an 84, it's most likely the shooter not the pistol or caliber.

The 84 was deserving of a little artistic flare with the photo!

I always liked the general look and feel of these as well, but be aware that it will kick harder than your M9, since it has no locked breech.

It's actually more of a straight back smack of the palm than a muzzle flip type kick. The 84 stays on target very well. My wife (5'-7" 125lb.) handles the 84 with no problems, shoots it extremely well and never complains about the kick or wants to stop shooting because of such.

I have a 84 BB double stack that is very reliable. Not a pocket sized weapon I think it is still a perfect compact sized 380.
