These seem to be well-made, quality guns from what I've seen, and are basically a product improved 92. With all the new polymer-framed guns on the market nowadays, the 90 Two seems to be pretty much under the radar.

I like the M9/92 series, and may buy a 90 Two, but do you think they will achieve any great sales success or be kind of an "also ran" in today's market?

Personally, I think they are going to be an "also ran" type deal. (I LOVE my 92FS and use it as my primary CCW). I am a Beretta fan as well, and would also love to have a 90 Two. I do think that they (the 92 series) had their day in the spotlight, and there's newer and shinier things to be seen nowadays. That's not to say that they're not great guns (obviously), but they just are not at the top of the Demand Market anymore.

The 90-two name was a mistake...

I think that the naming of this pistol was a big mistake. Many people complained about it when the pistol first came out, so Beretta's marketing department came up with a naming contest on the Beretta forum. Somebody won the contest, but Beretta never changed the name. That made Beretta marketing look even more clueless. It sounds stupid, but many people held that against the pistol.

Alot of Beretta products dont have adequate advertisement. They make some damn fine pistols, but if you open up a Shooting Times magazine(or any other), you will see three pages of XD ads, 2 pages of Kimber ads and so on. In 12 issues, i dont think ive seen a single Beretta ad.

I dont think that beretta will do any serious civilian catering until they lose the contract with the military. But I like the 90 two alot

I like my px4 plenty, never had ANY problems,(knock on wood) lowrecoil, 20 rds and I payed less than a glock and about the same/less than an xd.

They have a 90-two at my local gun store, i havnt held it or checked it out to much yet, but i prefer the looks of the standard m9/92 style.
